When looking upon a fallen Haradrim foe, Faramir* mused:
"I deem. I wonder what his name is... where he came from. And if he was really evil at heart. What lies or threats led him on this long march from home? If he would not rather have stayed there... in peace. "
I used a lot more photo textures than I usually do, but please be aware that every single building is a unique blend of textures and shapes. The street was originally modeled in maya ( fav.me/d7k3koj ) and then painted over and textured in Photoshop CC.
Thank-you: senshistock.deviantart.com/art… for the base/reference for my Haradrim lady.

I really like your focus on the East. LotR was all on the West. Your art seems to fit perfectly. Please consider as it would be great to expand our focus on Middle-earth. Cheers!
Not least to find out what happened to the Blue Istari.
It was a fantastic piece and I look forward to all the Lord of The Rings work you do from now on! The cultures of Harad and Umbar are explored really sparingly in the fiction so it was great having an image to put to my imaginings.
I'd love to see a drawing of a Harad warchieftan! Apparently they were granted sorcerous gifts by Sauron making them as big and strong as trolls. At least according to David Day who's illustrated bestiary I quite enjoyed.
Awesome use of maya as a guide!
This is amazing! You will NEVER cease to amaze!
